Curtains, couches, chairs, and other upholstered furniture and/or window treatments are often overlooked causes of a musty apartment home. Fix it fast with an old bottle of vodka – yes, really! Undiluted vodka is a great natural deodorizer and disinfectant that will lift away odors and help kill bacteria. All you have to do is add the vodka to a spray bottle and lightly mist it over the fabric. Best of all, you don’t need to break out the good stuff – this hack works just as well with inexpensive vodka.
